Samuel Hutchison and Lydia Root
Samuel Hutchison was born in 1666 and died in 1747. He married Lydia Root. They had at least the following children: Mary, Rebecca, Samuel, Stephen, and John (1725-1765).

The siege of Londonderry occurred from April 18, 1689 to August 1 1689. At the time of the siege, Samuel Hutchison would have been in his 20s. The siege occurred during the Williamite War, in Ireland. The Williamite War was a religious and political conflict between the Jacobites - Catholic supporters of James II - and the Williamites - protestant supporters of William of Orange over who would come to power. John Hutchinson and Margaret Elder
John Hutchinson married Margaret Elder. They had at least the following children: Samuel and Flored (1752-1839). Flored married Samuel Wylie and had the following children: Elizabeth (1777-1818), John (1778-), James (1780-1780), Margaret (1782-), Samuel (1783-), Sarah (1786-), Mary (1787-), Oliver (1790-1814) and Moses (1790-1852), James (1792-1869), Florence (1795-), and Rebecca (1797).
