This is a selfie of adventure! Believe it or not (because you can barely see it behind my head) this picture was taken in front of a GIANT armadillo statue in front of the Perini Ranch. The other faces in this picture mean a lot to me. When I look at Uncle I see the man that raised my best friend. He's been a great teacher and confidant to me as well! His endless patiences, his knowledge of the outdoors, and his wisdom are amazing. (He even taught me how to fish! He did a pretty good job too. My first big fish was a catfish the size of my leg - I've got pictures!). |
Neither Becky nor I had ever been, but we'd heard a lot about it. The drive was about an hour and a half from where we live. It's located in Buffalo Gap, Texas (which is a pretty charming little town for you Texas people if you've got an afternoon with nothing to do).
The Perini Ranch was pretty hopping. It was hard to find a parking spot. The drinks were strong, the steak was juicy, and the dessert was amazing. It was a delicious ending to a busy week!
