Thor is the dog that made me want a dog of my own. He gave me hope for my puppy - and he has helped make Bronson into an excellent adult dog. When I look at this picture, I see the face of my furry friend. Thor has been through a lot in his life. When he was a few years old he got out of our yard and was hit by a car. The vet told us that he would lose his leg, but he didn't and he is still his old springy self. When my grandmother died, 5 years ago (holy crap y'all, has it been that long?) he was the one to comfort me first. He curled himself around me and licked my face. This guy is loved unconditionally by the humans in his life. My buddy's face is one of love and endless patience. He is always excited, always loving, and always happy to see his people. He is a blessing I am thankful for every day. And that's what I see when I look at this picture. |
My selfie this week is of me and this guy, Thor. I've loved Thor for eight years. This week my selfie is with Thor.
